Participants in the class are being asked to also participate in research on the outcomes of our patients who go through the class.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN RESEARCH to be part of the class.  However, if you do, and are eligible, you will be provided with free lab work and a DEXA scan before and after the class.

Consider being part of small a group!

  • It is our hope that by attending you will have significant improvement in your health and medical conditions, decreasing your risk of heart attack, stroke, many forms of cancer and other chronic diseases, as well as decreasing your need of medication, thereby saving money at the same time!

  • The eight 90-minute sessions consists of live and recorded educational presentations, exercise, stress reduction and group discussion.  You will receive weekly assignments that will be practical, educational, and hopefully fun!  These visits will be billed to insurance. Co-pays may apply, depending on your insurance plan.

  • Lab work (cholesterol, blood sugar, etc.) is optional, but if you plan to do the entire series, it is recommended before and after the class series to document your success. If you would like, we can order this for you.  It will be billed to your insurance. Co-pays may apply, depending on your insurance plan.  If you would like to participate in our research project, you can have the labwork provided for free.

  • An optional final individual visit can be scheduled with Dr. Drozek to review your progress, and set personal goals for your continued new healthy lifestyle!  This visit will be billed to insurance. Co-pays may apply, depending on your insurance plan.
